There were several other events around the time of the Designathon. Those were great opportunities to meet others, find interesting projects, help out, etc.
If you were in Austin, you could stop by this in-person hackathon focused on the mempool, organized by BTC++. There was also a special design price. May 7 to 9.
In this 1.5-month online global tournament, teams competed for a prize pool of ~$70,000 in bitcoin. April 7 to May 20.
